About the Collaborator: Qamerad
Qamerad is an Indonesian-based queer radical cinema collective and community project, largely operating in Bali, that organizes guerrilla film screenings and community-led workshops. The collective views cinema as a tool for "commoning". It gathers communities to redistribute resources, challenge dominant heteropatriarchal narratives, and imagine alternative ways of living. QAMERAD curates film programs, such as its 2026 Curatorial Arc "WORLDBUILDING AMIDST THE FIRE"; and hosts archival intervention workshops, discussions, and underground screenings. The term itself is a stylised play on the word "camaraderie" (meaning mutual trust and friendship among a group of people) infused with "camera".
About the Host: Kezia Alexandra
Kezia Alexandra is an emerging filmmaker and visual artist from Bali, recognized internationally for her work. She is the recipient of the Gary L. Hayes Award for Young Indonesian Director at Balinale 2024. With a background in cinematography from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, Kezia is known for her bold visual style and visionary approach to storytelling.
Event Rundown
8 PM : Doors Open
8.30 PM : Film Screening Begins
10.30 PM : Screening Ends, followed by a discussion moderated by Kezia Alexandra

Drinks at the bar, popcorn on the house, and the movie starts at 8.30 PM.

Wednesday, Friday & Saturday (Live Jazz Nights)
On our live jazz nights, table reservations require a minimum spend:

Option 1: Table Tickets through Event Page
Purchase a table ticket to guarantee a table for you and cover the minimum spend. The minimum spend can be used toward any food and beverage purchases during your visit. The minimum spend applies to the table, regardless of the number of guests seated.

Option 2: Walk-In Entry
Walk-in guests may enter by purchasing a First Drink Charge (FDC) of IDR 200,000 per person.

Yes, we do, it's called General Admission ticket. This ticket type is only available on our website until T-1 of the event date, and it's only available for a limited number. General Admission tickets won't be available to purchase at the door.

Yes! Our regular nights on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday will always have Free Entry.
On Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays, you can also enter our bar for free if you come before 10 PM, however tables will be subject to minimum spend. If you come as a group, we strongly recommend purchasing a Regular Table or VIP Table ticket to guarantee table for you. Standing areas, bar seating, and non-reserved seating remain subject to availability.
You are welcomed to come as you are, as long you're not wearing flip-flops, swimwear, or beverage branded singlet. Leather sandals are fine, we're not fussy ;)
Please note that our bar is located on the 2nd floor of IZE Seminyak Hotel on Jalan Kayu Aya no. 68, right above Meja Kitchen.
We have street parking space available for motorbikes / scooters only. We have limited parking space for small cars at IZE Seminyak hotel basement. For big cars, we suggest to park at Seminyak Square or Seminyak Village which is only 5 minutes away from Seken. To save the hassle, we strongly recommend you to come using online tax apps (Gojek / Grab).
No smoking is allowed indoors between 8 PM - 12 AM, vaping and iQos are allowed. Our outdoor deck is a perfect place for a cigarette break in between the sets.
Yes, we do! We serve seasonal mocktails based on what ingredients are available at the bar at that moment. Ask our bartenders to make one based on your preference. We also have soft drinks if you're in the mood for a plain one.
