Bold Twists

What truly sets Seken apart is its dedication to live music. Four nights a week, the room comes alive with the pulse of jazz—ranging from classic standards to Latin and Afro rhythms, soul, funk, and contemporary nu-jazz. Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays feature live bands, while Thursdays bring DJs who keep the night flowing with fresh, contemporary beats.
The Sound of Seken

Rizky Argadipraja (Greybox)
Music Director
Greybox is a Bali-based producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, keys, saxo) whose sound bridges Nu Jazz, Dub, and House with the soulful pulse of modern improvisation. Influenced by J Dilla, Moodymann, and Terrace Martin, he draws from the underground spirit of Detroit and New York to shape his own forward-thinking sound. Founder of Grey Audio Lab, he has mentored a new generation of Indonesian producers and shared stages with Anderson .Paak, Tame Impala, and Yussef Dayes.
Now joining Seken Bali as Music Director, Greybox leads the revolution of Seken Sounds — a movement that redefines jazz culture in Bali, where live musicians, DJs, and sonic experimentation converge to create a fresh narrative of rhythm, freedom, and artistic expression.

What is Seken?
A Second Pour, A Second Home
Seken (pronounced “seh-ken”) is a cocktail and jazz bar in the heart of Seminyak, where smooth drinks and soulful music meet in perfect harmony.
The name itself plays in two tempos. From English, “Second” marks both our home on the second floor of IZE Seminyak and our interior, composed of second-hand, refurbished, and upcycled pieces. From Balinese, “Seken” means jelas or sungguh-sungguh—our way of saying we put real heart and effort into every detail of hospitality.
Like a good jazz set, Seken celebrates both improvisation and sincerity. It’s a space for second chances and genuine moments, where the night slows down just enough for you to savor each note, each sip, and the present in full.
