About Lamented Laughter
Lamented Laughter is a progressive soul band fronted by vocalist Jeremiah Isaac, originating from Washington, D.C., and now based in Bali, Indonesia. The group is known for its blend of soul, funk, R&B, gospel, jazz, and everything in between, creating unforgettable performances that tranced genres and borders. Lamented's musical background includes classical training and performances on global stages. His live shows are described as "electric and full of swagger," featuring deep grooves, soaring vocals, and captivating stage presence.
Their career highlights include performances at iconic venues such as The Viper Room (Los Angeles, USA), Singjazz Festival (Singapore, Handel Festival Halle (Germany), Montreux Jazz Cafe (Switzerland), Kennedy Center (Washington DC, USA), and many more.

Yes, you can book a table on Mondays till Thursdays at any time. On our ticketed days (Fridays, and Saturdays), reservation slots may only available between 8 - 8.30 PM.
Yes, we have FDC (First Drink Charge) tickets on Fridays & Saturdays. On Wednesdays, all you need to do is just make a reservation, and you can enjoy the show with free entry.
Yes! We have Free Entry nights every Mondays to Thursdays.
On Fridays & Saturdays, you can also enter our bar for free if you come before 9 PM.
You are welcomed to come as you are, as long you're not wearing flip-flops or beverage branded singlet. Leather sandals are fine, we're not fussy ;)
Please note that our bar is located on the 2nd floor of IZE Seminyak Hotel on Jalan Kayu Aya no. 68, right above Meja Kitchen.
We have street parking space available for motorbikes / scooters only. We have limited parking space for small cars at IZE Seminyak hotel basement. For big cars, we suggest to park at Seminyak Square or Seminyak Village which is only 5 minutes away from Seken. To save the hassle, we strongly recommend you to come using online tax apps (Gojek / Grab).
No smoking is allowed indoors between 8 PM - 12 AM, vaping and iQos are allowed. Our outdoor deck is a perfect place for a cigarette break in between the sets.
Yes, we do! We serve seasonal mocktails based on what ingredients are available at the bar at that moment. Ask our bartenders to make one based on your preference. We also have soft drinks if you're in the mood for a plain one.
