About Kevin Suwandhi

Kevin began learning music at 9 and focused on jazz two years later, developing a passion that led to winning several jazz competitions and awards like Best Keyboardist at events such as Udayana Jazz Festival and Jazz Goes to Campus. He has performed at numerous festivals both in Indonesia and internationally, including Java Jazz Festival, JakJazz Festival, and Jazz in July (Singapore). His diverse musical taste allows him to participate in projects spanning genres from Pop and R&B to Jazz and Latin music.

Despite his busy schedule as a sideman, Kevin recorded his debut album at 15 and released another in 2016 with his project, Kevin Suwandhi Double Trio. At 18, he moved to New York to study at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, receiving a scholarship and studying with renowned musicians like Francesca Tanksley and Ari Hoenig. He has also performed with acclaimed artists such as Doug Weiss, Cameron Brown, and Joe Martin.

About Dennis Junio

Dennis Junio Gani is an Indonesian jazz saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, known for his influence in the Indonesian music scene and performances at international jazz festivals. Beginning his musical journey with piano at age three, he switched to violin at seven and played until 14. Inspired by the Jakarta Jazz Festival in 2005, Junio took up the saxophone, initially self-taught before studying under Benny Likumahuwa.

Junio has performed at major jazz festivals in Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia, collaborating with artists like Barry Likumahuwa Project and Lala Karmela. While primarily a jazz musician, he also plays pop, reggae, and ska. He has attended masterclasses with jazz legends Bob Mintzer and Bob Fransicina and appreciated seeing saxophone heroes like Ralph Moore and Eric Alexander perform live in Europe.
