Seken Bali welcomes a rare guest behind the bar — Michito Kaneko, founder of the acclaimed Lamp Bar, Nara in Japan (ranked No. 46 on Asia's 50 Best Bar), and the 2015 Diageo World Class Global Bartender of the Year. Known for his quiet precision and poetic approach to mixology, Kaneko embodies the essence of Japanese hospitality — refined, balanced, and deeply human. His creations are more than drinks; they are stories told through harmony, subtlety, and imagination.
From working as a construction laborer in his early years to becoming one of the world’s most celebrated bartenders, Kaneko’s journey reflects the spirit of craftsmanship and humility that defines his artistry. At Lamp Bar, ranked among Asia’s finest, his cocktails explore the dialogue between nature, season, and emotion — a philosophy he now brings to Bali for one night only.
Joining him is Charles Richard, Seken Bali’s Founding Bartender and Diageo World Class Indonesia 2025 Winner, known for his bold reinterpretations of classic cocktails and mastery of balance. Together, they’ll merge two worlds of cocktail philosophy — Japanese precision and Balinese soul — across an exclusive menu crafted with Cenote Tequila and Dolin Vermouth.
Behind the decks, RizkyCore will set the tone with a smooth blend of Nu Jazz and Jazz-House, taking the night from sultry grooves to late-night rhythm.

Yes, you can book a table on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at any time.
On our ticketed days (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), reservation slots are only available between 8 - 8.30 PM.
Yes, we sell FDC (First Drink Charge) tickets on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. On Wednesdays, all you need to do is just RSVP, and you can enjoy the show for free.
Yes! We have Free Entry nights every Mondays to Wednesdays.
On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, you can also enter our bar for free if you come before 9 PM.
You are welcomed to come as you are, as long you're not wearing flip-flops or beverage branded singlet. Leather sandals are fine, we're not fussy ;)
Please note that our bar is located on the 2nd floor of IZE Seminyak Hotel on Jalan Kayu Aya no. 68, right above Meja Kitchen.
We have street parking space available for motorbikes / scooters only. We have limited parking space for small cars at IZE Seminyak hotel basement. For big cars, we suggest to park at Seminyak Square or Seminyak Village which is only 5 minutes away from Seken. To save the hassle, we strongly recommend you to come using online tax apps (Gojek / Grab).
No smoking is allowed indoors between 8 PM - 12 AM, vaping and iQos are allowed. Our outdoor deck is a perfect place for a cigarette break in between the sets.
Yes, we do! We serve seasonal mocktails based on what ingredients are available at the bar at that moment. Ask our bartenders to make one based on your preference. We also have soft drinks if you're in the mood for a plain one.
